2003 Shiraz / Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot

This South Burnett blend incorporates the very best of each of the three varieties used. Consisting of Shiraz - providing spiciness, structure and richness combined with Cabernet Sauvignon - imparting minty flavours and length and complemented by Merlot - which offers softness and berry fruits.

The wine is deep red in colour with a nose of mint, violets and plums. The palate is soft and supple showing excellent integration of vanilla oak and berry fruits. Ideally suited to pasta and vegetarian dishes the wine will continue to improve in the bottle for 3-5 years.
