Whites

2008 Verdelho $17.50

Hand picked from a 2acre plot of grapes growing along the shore of Lake Barambah; the Terroir of our uniquely positioned vineyard results in a perfect drinking for the Queensland climate. With an aromatic floral nose, a typical Verdelho palate of sweet tropical fruits and a crisp persistent finish; this wine is best enjoyed alfresco in good company.

Chardonnay 2008 $21.00

Hand picked and whole bunched pressed to capture only the best from the fruit, daily lees stirring and maturation in high quality french oak ‘hogs head' barrels has rewarded us with one of our best chardonnays yet. This wine presents and nose of ripe melon and pear with the barrel fermented complexity on the palate of nutty almond, vanilla and a subtle creaminess, finishing with crisp, well balanced acidity.

The Sweet White $14.00

Blended from Verdelho and Chardonnay this is wine styled for those that prefer something sweeter, it has wonderful fruit and honey characters and is the partner wine to the Sweet Red.

Reds

2005 Shiraz CELLAR RELEASE   $26.00

This premium Shiraz , selectively hand picked from the 2 acres of vines and cold soaked prior to fermentation to enhance flavour. The wine has a vibrant purple red hue with liquorish and concentrated Shiraz fruit flavours. Notes of cedar come from 14 months of oak maturation. This wine is drinking brilliantly now and cellaring for up 6 years reward the patient. We have only limited stocks of this wine left!

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon $22.00

This wine offers a nose of spice with hints of mint chocolate, leading to a well balanced palate of persistent red fruits and fine rounded tannins. This wine is drinking very well now and will benefit from cellaring for up to 5 years.

The Sweet Red $14.00

By far our most popular wine, the sweet red is a select blend created to satisfy the sweet tooth wine lover. The sweet red is dark ruby in colour, it offers up plenty of ripe, sweet berry fruits to the nose and is soft and sweet on the palate.

2008 Rose' $15.50

Made from selectively hand picked Shiraz , this Rose is a vibrant pink. Fresh and floral aromas mingle strawberries and the scents of summer garden flowers. Juicy and fresh on the palate, it offers light creamy strawberry flavours. A gentle sweetness is balanced by crisp acidity and is best enjoyed chilled with friends and summer salads.

Fortifieds

Stump Block Fortified Shiraz $19.00

Picked from our “Stump Block”, a small patch of 12 year old bush vines, The Stump Block takes its name from a large Iron Bark stump that sits right in the middle of the block. These vines are extremely low yield and the fruit is intense and full of flavour, wines, be it fortified or table are not available every vintage from the stump block and during times of drought they may not produce at all!

Liqueur Muscat $14.50

Fortified Muscat liqueur, with raisin and butterscotch flavours. A perfect dessert wine or after dinner treat with a fruit and cheese platter.
